The Luger is a 1914 Commercial, very near the end of "prewar" commercial production. The N with the crown above should be of the "lazy" type, lying on its side rather than vertical.
The little pocket in the holster is for the "skatekey" loading tool. The safe is actually "on" (rendered safe) when the GESICHERT is exposed. Since this is a commercial gun, the "M.Hubsch" is probably the name of the former German owner. It would be very much appreciated if you could post pictures of the gun and holster. It will be interesting to see if the holster is commercial also.
