Doubs User Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Byron, Georgia Posts: 1,744 Thanks: 828 Thanked 1,794 Times in 592 Posts	Thor, according to the "Standard Directory of Proof Marks", the eagle is a post-1950 Suhl final proof (doesn't mention it being military) and the C/U is a post-1950 Suhl Inspection mark. The book does state that after proof firing, a visual inspection is performed.
