This grip is on eBay as a "Luger Pistol WWII Wood Grip"....or is it?

Something tells me "Caution"!!!
The small cut out at the lower left of the grip seems to not be a chip in the wood.
If it is a chip then the material is not wood, Because wood probably chips differently not a clean cross grain break, Possibly there may be one exception "CoCoBola".
If its not a chip and was an intentional cutout, It seems to me that it is not a WW-2 product.

Ron, The wide flat area in the center of this grip, tells me that it is of DWM production. The notch at the bottom rear, is for the lanyard loop of a 1908 Bulgarian. I believe that I have the matching left side for anyone looking to make a set. TH

This gives me an idea... I may resurrect one or more of the previous quizzes that we held when we were in the old Forum format and limit participation to folks who have been members for less than a year...

now to figure how to recognize the winner... since the award of prizes was one of the reasons we haven't pursued this path in a couple of years... any suggestions on limiting eligibility and award of prizes to the new guys would be appreciated...

The question is too vague. Would that be a standard P-08 with or without a hold-open? Does the magazine count as a part or do all the parts of the magazine count? KFS
