Default Re: Tragedy here also.......

I am always saddened to hear of someone losing a family member and I offer my condolences. My grandparents on my father's side died within a week of each other in 1994. My father died in October 1999 and my mother died three months later. My 92-year-old grandmother's health has declined drastically in recent months, forcing her to move out of her home of 60 years into an assisted-living facility. When an important person in one's life passes away, a void is left that can never be filled. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my parents and grandparents. Thinking about the good memories and how fortunate I was to have had good relationships with them does make the loss a little more bearable. The passing of time also has helped, but the pain, especially with my parents who were only in their 60s when they died, has not gone away.
