This is a nicely made homemade Luger stock whose possession attached to any Luger with less than a 16 inch barrel would be a federal felony.

The fact that it appears in other auction ads attached to a 4 inch barreled Luger should be sufficient evidence to get this guy locked up for a violation of the National Firearms Act of 1934... specifically, manufacture (assembly) of an unlicensed Short barreled Rifle (less than 16 inch barrel). I have notified the seller If I were he, I would withdraw this auction immediately and relist it with pictures that don't include the Luger. He should advise potential buyers that it would only be legal with a 16 inch barrel or longer.

Luftwaffe1945/John:

These are sold by KeyII, Inc, PO Box 59, Alexandria Va 22313-0059, 703-684-6111. They are advertised as "Parabellum Model 1913 Artillery stock" developed in 1913 for the first Artillery Lugers....$595.00. They also sell a C-96 Type stock for the Luger, as offered in the 1929 Stoeger Catalog.....$495.00. Also list a Carbine stock...$440.00. Info from their flyer.
This (1913 stock) would not be correct for a 1915 Luger.

First impression is that the prices for these reproduction stocks are almost as high (or higher)than original stocks in this kind of condition are selling for...

Also, if these types of stocks/luger combinations DO NOT APPEAR on the ATF Curio & Relic List that is exempt from the National Firearms Act, then attaching them to any Luger with less than a 16 inch barrel is still a federal felony.

Does this outfit have a website?

John:

The flyer I have does not list a website. They do have a FAX 703-683-5486.
