Default magazines dropping out when firing!

Hi to all, well, we've got a bit more information to share with the membership as to the unusual problem of the magazine dropping free when shooting the luger? The problem is further compounded by the large array of mag manufactures, the tolerances of the mags, the tolerance difference between frames, and even the slight difference between magazine catches as well. The main players are Mec-Gar mags, and Mauser Parabellums. The show the least amount of compatibility, and that's where we went to right off.
Most correction attempts have focused on the errant mag, but after studying the problem I decided to look a little deeper and came to the conclusion, the magazine catch itself was the main culprit and that's where we focused our attention.
Working with my excellent customer, Tom Flosnik, who did the testing, we came away with a viable solution we think will work in a lot of lugers going forward!
I simply chucked the magazine release catch in the lathe, and removed .015" off of the end of the mag catch stop where it controls the depth where it engages the frame! So, it lets the mag catch protrude further into the mag well, there by increasing the "bite" into the mag catch in the mag well.... If any of you have the problem listed above, I will modify your mag catch to give it a better engagement for $35.00 including return postage! best to all, til....lat'r....GT..
