Attached are some photos of my byf 41 so called "Black Widow" Luger. The black grip panels are original to the luger and are correct as far as I know. I have not done the "hot pin" test and want to do nothing that might mar the originality of the piece. There is also a photo of the eue/41, P08 holster for the luger.

The hot pin test won't leave any detectable damage. If it does, it would be the size of a pinprick!

Nobody really answered the OP's question, so I tried. You never know when an old post can become relevant again--at least as it apparently did this time around for "new blood"! p.s. A black bakelite-bottom mag would make it 100% Shattuck-y. ![]()
