Default A new source for Luger Grips

Hello friends.

I seldom get the chance to visit anymore, but I wanted to share with you a new source for wood replacement grips. I don't have any first hand experience with the vendor, but I received this email yesterday and visited their website. Their prices seem very reasonable, and they have offered a discount for a bulk buy if anyone wants to organize one. If anyone tries them please post a review here on the forum for others to know what you found out. Here is the content of the email

Dear LugerForum Team,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Fatih Alkan, and I represent Zib Grips, a company specializing in high-quality, custom firearm grips.

We are excited to offer an exclusive opportunity for the members of LugerForum. We are capable of crafting custom grips specifically designed for Luger pistols, with the option for personalized engravings or designs based on member preferences. Whether it's a historical emblem, a family crest, or any other unique design, we can bring it to life with precision and care.

If this is of interest to the LugerForum community, I would be delighted to discuss the details further or provide samples of our previous work. Our goal is to create something truly special for the passionate members of your forum.

If you want to buy bulk order, we can make huge discount also.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need additional information. I look forward to the possibility of working together.

Best regards,
Fatih Alkan

No offense intended, but I’m just a tiny bit leery of a new vendor from a Third World country blind-calling any group to offer an “exclusive opportunity.” Call me the skeptic, but this reeks of the typical email/internet scam.

For what it is worth, from a quick and very limited search. It appears ZIB grips are a thing. Made in Turkey with US warehouse. Couple reviews state cheap stain bleeds into your hands when shooting and some fitting required. On the ZIB website the fish scale luger grips had 3 reviews. The reviews appear to be all made up by ZIB, as all 3 are females with lots of verbiage similar to what ZIB has written in their long winded repetitive descriptions. No original pattern P08 grips available, just fancy carvings are offered. So if you want to pimp out a shooter luger, maybe? I would not bother, no interest to me.

If you need really nice grips for a Mauser-made Luger (30s and 40s), G.T. is your huckleberry. A little bird told me that he has some available that are excellent quality and will fit perfectly!

Default Mauser fit grips!

David is correct! I have a few (half doz.) sets of Nill Griffe P.08 grip sets that i would sell... I charge $175.00 shipped!
They fit Mauser P.08's perfectly and tight, better than any custom grip I've ever seen, with the exception of some of JVM grips I have worked with? Email me if you want a set, at: gctomeks@msn.com
Best to you all, til....lat'r....GT...
BTW, they do not fit DWM, not even close..
