Beautifull Luger and unknown origin. Please help me to figure out it.

It’s not a 6” barrel but a standard 4.75” one. It’s mostly a standard “new model” 1906 commercial in .30 cal for non-export sale, which makes the origin story provided interesting. That and the Gesichert instead of leaving the “safe” position in the white as seen on many of the pre-war new model setups like both of my model 1906’s.
