It looks to me as if this pistol that is the subject of this thread is now listed on Gunbroker, complete with its capture document for PFC Clyde Fox (unless he had more than one of this 40-42 lugers).

I'd be interested but the bidding seems to me to start very high, however, I admit that I am not well versed in prices on luger pistols.

At least I won't have to be concerned that the National Personnel Records Center may not produce PFC Fox's service record. :-))
