This looks like a 1916 DWM P.08 that has a 1920 property mark and a unit stamp.
It's hard to read the serial numbers, but the appear to be assorted: 1) the front frame seems to be 600e, but a leading digit looks like it was scrubbed off. 2) the barrel (bottom) seems to be numbered 500m 3) the takedown is too blurry from me to guess, but it's not "00" as it should be. 4) the side plate is "81". An Imperial era luger would originally have strawed parts (takedown, trigger, safety lever, springs, etc.), but there is hardly a hint of that gold color left. So, it's a mismatched P.08. I would consider it a "shooter" class luger. See the FAQs We could tell you a lot more with a proper set of photos (left, right, top, rear, etc.). Try to get the serial numbers in focus or at least report them. |
