small house in central jersey - ,paid 24k 50 years ago - appraised at 300k 3 years ago , now 420k. the New Yok city dwellers are now paying realtors well over listing price to get one here - taxes when i bought house was $450.00 per year , now $180.00 per week + town services + schools were better back then - wife of 57 years 94 year old WWII vet father lives 3 blocks away so i'm stuck -
