I love Ed's idea of a private range in my backyard ... unfortunately its not allowed here even if your miles from your nearest neighbor.
I like Georges idea the 2nd best as you kinda have an approximate idea of where your shells will end up. sheepherder's idea seems kinda fishy to me ![]() Spreading a tarp to cover that area could work as long as it doesn't interfere with other shooters.
