Hi,
IIRC, the ammo used at the time Lugers were current was the 125gn standard velocity bullet. As long as it's standard velocity, and not "NATO" or +P power it will probably work. But.. the Luger is pretty finely balanced, and you may find cycling problems surface with the heavier bullet. I personally don't fire collectible Lugers because of the risk of damaging numbered parts.
