I've heard that cast zinc alloy becomes more brittle over time. It might explain why one of mine began to crack along the front part of the frame, beginning at a sharp inside corner in the slot into which the upper slides. I had it micro-welded by Jim French. Then it happened again to another KGP68A .380. I think I'll stick to shooting the smaller calibers in Ermas from now on.
