Wow, that corroded Luger is amazing.
One question that will never be answered is how did it ended that way.
- Was it buried by its former user, before running away?
- Was the user killed holding it?

We only see what the weapons we bring to our homes want to show us in their surface (metal /wood / Bakelite etc...)
In most of the cases, the crude part of the story is buried somewhere....forever.
