Condolence on your loss from all David's forum friends and myself. A great contributor, his reliable and accurate posts were always appreciated.
Depending on the number of firearms and how quickly you need to sell them, there are a number of choices. The fastest way is to aggregate them, and ask a major auction house to appraise them, then auction them. They will take a large portion of the sales (both from you and as a buyer's premium to the buyer), but they will move them at market, and do it quickly. If you have more time, you can consign them over time to well known Luger and other specialty dealers. Many will also buy them at effectively dealer cost, about 30 percent below retail. You can sell them in individual ads on forums like this, and often at collector valuation. This is slower, and involves learning the actual value (often by paying someone to appraise them). Local general market gun stores are probably the worse way to sell or consign them unless you know the owner well. Hope that this helps.
