Hugh,
They are Swiss muzzle protectors made by Luthy. I took the photo of that group of Swiss Lugers about 20 years ago. I still have them and I have since added #109 Swiss Military with unrelieved frame and flat button magazine. Very nice condition and one of the best guns in my collection.
