I came across this on Gun Broker, can anyone identify the front site ?
http://boards.rennlist.com/lfupload/sitefronta.JPG It looks like a variation of the Finnish Luger http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...?Item=12619853

The photograph APPEARS to show a front sight that is pointed on top and wider at the base which suggests a Mauser rifle sight. I have a parts Luger with a new 6 inch .30 barrel and a Mauser rifle front sight fit perfectly. I trimmed the dovetail "ears" on the sight with a Dremmel tool because they extended out too far and didn't look right. The rifle sight works quite well and looks OK too..... at least on a mis-matched shooter it does.

I agree with Doubs, Mauser rifle front sight, I have several of these and have used them when I needed a higher front sight on a shooter.
