Default Grip strap markings

I was under the impression that military (not police) grip strap markings were discontinued after 1916.

They were re-instituted by the Reichswehr.
Though not all were marked, neither were they in Imperial times.

They come back during Weimar area , army , police , navy !

Thanks, all taken with my phone. Take 10 keep the good one delete the rest, crop out what you don't want. Good light and I use a Galaxy Note 4 phone.
More pics of different Lugers in the near future.
