Aimco American Eagle?

So here's what I got. The owners manual says Aimco. The frame only says SPM which my reading tells me is the company that made the frame. There is no other manufacturer markings at all. Not above either grip. Not anywhere. The magazine leader saysMitchell. The 1993 seems odd to me as this would be during the Mitchell time frame but the gun is not marked Mitchell at all. What say you? Did Aimco brand them simultaneously with Mitchell? Is it a Mitchell with no stamp? Certainly someone must know or have one like it. thanks for all the info
