Default Vintage Luger Model Kit

I mentioned these in another thread, years ago...

Back in the late 50's/early 60's, I owned two of these, three years apart. They were green plastic, flatter and bigger than an actual P08. Went together with glue & screws. I could not get either one to work.

I tried lubricant, followed the instructions faithfully, they would not function. (They're supposed to shoot plastic bullets).

I've always thought they were 'unfinished business', and that some day I would find a kit that had not been finished.

Now, there is one on eBay. It's at -

...But it costs too much!!!

Someone please buy it and tell me you got it to work!!!

I have a few toy Lugers. That looks like a nice kit. Never seen that kit before. Looks like a nice fun build. I'll keep a eye on the one on Ebay.

The years of my youth that I quoted were wrong...It was the late 50's/early 60's...That would make this kit over 50 years old...I was only 9 or 10...

It may be one of a few left not put together. Some parts were glued together and not able to be separated after gluing...

We had good glue back then...
