Post New Luger

Hi all, thought I would post my first Luger. It is a 1940/42, all matching # 7293 L. Finish is about 80% with wood grips, non matching magazine. Anyone know of good source for mags ?

Hey Frank, Good on you!! Congratulations!! I guess you are now officially hooked!!

The chances of finding a matching magazine for your Luger is pretty slim.

What are you looking for in a magazine. Your pistol was shipped with a 122 Code magazine with E/37 Waffenamt Marks. Perhaps as good as you can do is come close to the 7293L serial number. Good Luck!

Tom Heller and Don Hallock are two good sources for magazines... Go for another Code 122 mag... or an FXO 37... they just don't get any better than those for original mags.

MecGar is the best aftermarket mag...

Thanks very much. I'd like to stay with original mags, but I see that be a challenge, but I waited this long for the Luger. Worth the wait.
