I work in a federal court. Very seldom do they keep people in custody. Last week they released a woman that had warrants from Indiana. They had been looking for her here, when she shows up in a parking lot doing a drug deal. Just by chance an agent sees her and they make the arrest. Having worked in the state system I can tell you she never would have been released on an out-of-state warrant. Oregon is extremely liberal when it comes to federal sentencing.
