So, after a little bit of research I think I've got a timeline that this Luger may (or may not) have followed:
1921-1934: 2nd Reichswehr Division, 6th Infantry Regiment. Headquartered in Stettin. 1934-1937: Renamed as the 2nd Heer Infantry Division. Still in Stettin. 1937 (Oct): Renamed as the 2nd Motorized Infantry Div. 1939: Combat in Poland 1940: Combat in France 1941 (Jan): Renamed as the 12th Panzer Div. Sent to Eastern Front. Combat in Minsk, Leningrad, Kursk, and others. 1945 (May): Surrendered to the Russians. Kurland, Latvia Obviously I have no idea if the pistol actually travelled to all these places, but the unit it was assigned to was all over the place Last edited by 415m3; 08-15-2018 at 07:48 PM.
