there was a very similar thread not long ago, the answer is yes the barrel can be changed if you have the proper tools, and there are no problems if it times and head spaces "correctly". The sights may align, or need tweaking. Will it shoot to point of aim? Depends, front sight height may need to be changed also. So the definitive answer is yes, maybe! JMHO.
