These were my comments on Jan's books from the other forum.
I cant tell you how much I have enjoyed all Jan's books. Especially Third Reich Lugers. They contain a wealth of information. As more documents surface and additional information becomes documented they will be even better. Remember, no body knows all about these guns, look at Kenyon's Lugers at Random and Jones Luger Variations, great books but they are now dated. Jan provides the most accurate data I knoow to the current time frame. If they are other books better I would like the titles. Jan's book cover a HUGE spectrum of weapons, time frame and details. I just love them. I use them all the time, and look something up almost daily. The technical information is more than in most other books. Serial ranges, proofs for each variation and sub variation are just not shown in such detail in other books. They have made my hobby and business much more enjoyable. Thanks Jan! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thor
