Are we talking 1938 and 1941 here ?

The more modest priced was a dural frame "prototype" and the other was a known engraved presentation piece.

Curiosity was getting the best of me wondering if the spendier one was a super minty 1938 or 1941 .

George, do you have pics of the Dural frame Luger??? Is there anything distinctive about the Dural frame that would get a casual browsers attention immediately???

3,577 Euros/$4,292 seems high. Mismatched sideplate as you pointed out. Frame rails look pretty beat. Lots of dings and scratches; finish is quite worn.

Is it yours???
