Default Various Luger Ammunition~

We never had a study of Old and New Luger Ammunition. I know Ed collects early luger rounds. Here is a fine history and beg others to post pictures of their own~ Can someone translate the significane of the 2 boxs, 1918 http://www.landofborchardt.com/ammo.html

In Villanova Law School during the early eighties we we taught to research an issue or simular question of law. We had to search an index of hundreds of book! Books were so expensive. Then came Thank God computers. You mearly start a general search the follow the trail! "luger" is too broad but luger paired with 'Imperial commercial artillery' hit paydirt! Start your search and than limit to to a year or type. I have learned more than any book doing searchs and the limiting it~ Give it a try and you will find your luger goldmine!!

Do you mean I missed a few? I am making this information available! Doing the research for those who may be interested. It sometimes take hours and well worth it!

Eric,
The "intruder" is a box of non-Luger ammo in your collection. The 9mm Steyr is not Luger ammo. No one is chastising you...relax.

That's two intruders then. "Patronen #403" is a C96 Broomhandle Mauser round. It's 30 cal but longer than the 30 Luger.

You said 30 Luger in post #1.

Both the Steyr and the C96 ammunition would go for around $50 at the yearly gun show around here. They're both neat items to have.
