There are lots of hard used SA holsters out there. But if you are limiting yourself to less than $40 - your options are small.

Personally I dislike repro stuff, they are not usually made well.

I have some original holsters that came with pistols basically "free", but I'm not into collecting them or seeking them out. Have originals for P38, luger, T14 nambu, steyr 1907, steyr 1908... always scared that they will break on my watch!

I came across an SA one once in decent shape with the stock loops in green leather for $125 but passed it up. Kinda regret it...
