This and several processes like it are why oil( natural or synthetic) will never go away. I read years ago that one process is already in large scale production.

I understood the us military has been using bio engineered fuels for certain ocean based craft for some years as it meets their standards and as a solely domestic controlled asset it is secure in time of war.
