Oberst Gerlochs Luger and History
Some months ago I posted information about a Luger that was taken from a German General in The Falaise gap on August 18th 1944....I did not have the gun in my possesion at the time.....here are some photos of it(and the other items captured with it) .....the gun is in very good condition, although it shows evidence of being carried in a Holster for many years.....Oberst Gerlochs military career information can be found by typing in his name on the Google search engine...Peter...( I have finally figured out how to paste and copy text on the computer, thanks to one of my Daughters.....I am glad the kids can figure these things out!!)

Very very interesting.
It is quite unusual to find Lugers with a traced history. Well done. Ciao Mauro
