Hi Steve,
I'm guessing it's a loading tool converted to an unloading tool. During the Weimar period a need was felt for such tools as police armorers did not want drums to remain loaded as it would weaken their springs. During the war of course, drums were unloaded by shooting at the enemy. Regards, Norm |
