Yes, 5"; works fine- but your 6" probably pushes it over the edge.

The numbers below show the weights of the bull barrels vs the "std" navy and artillery. As you can see the 5" is close to the artillery, but the 6" bull is about 2 oz. heavier-therein the problem lies.
4" bull- 6.7
5" bull- 8.4
6" bull- 10.0

std 4"- 3.8
Navy 6"- 5.3
Art 8" - 7.7

Some of these are actual weights, the 4" and 6" bull are calculated from my 5" weight.

I could take a couple ounces off your 6" by "thinning" the sides!
Kind of make a "thin bull".
