Yes I was hoping for more replies, but now there are some - so thanks to all.
Most of the 1906 AE I have perused on the internet do seem have matching numbered grips, but it sounds like it's not a big deal if they are not numbered (and appear original or at least period/old). Reason I asked about this is I will be trying to buy my first AE, maybe at Morphys this month. So don't bid against me!(LOL)! - Geo
