Ballpark-ish estimate on 1916 DWM?

true.... but one has to have / see / inspect pieces for which the nature of the finishing is definitely KNOWN. Otherwise it still seems to be a fair proportion of guess work and "gut feeling." Gut feeling goes a long way though... I'm not discounting that at ALL.
