Default Re: Luger Grips :)

I believe the grips on the pictured gun are English or French Walnut (there is really very little difference) that has had the grain filled and a hand rubbed finish applied, then checkered. I can get Nill Griffe grips in European Walnut that are uncheckered and finish them and checker with the border; but final price is going to be around $125.

If I use the Cocobolo grips from SARCO I can do them for $85. Does this throw cold water on anyones ardor to own a pair?
