It's sad to see that almost all the main cities of this Country are linked by the so called TAV (High Speed Trains) and you can go from Turin to Rome in less than 4 hours, then you discover that in the deep South there are still areas linked by a single track! But, the good thing was to see the queues of people going to the hospitals to offer their blood...
