Default Finish question

I just bought an all matching 1911 dated DWM and have a question. Are the locking bolts on early P08's left bright or are they strawed. The one on my gun is bright polished steel. Thank you in advance.

Hi James,
It should be strawed.

Thank you Norm. It may have been at one time and just faded to a shiny finish.

And you will post pics of it ASAP, right?
