Carl Sandburg (January 6, 1878 – July 22, 1967) was an American poet, writer, and editor who won three Pulitzer Prizes: two for his poetry and one for his biography of Abraham Lincoln.
Carl once wrote a close friend the following....."If I had more time, I would have written you a shorter letter." Skeeter Skelton was an amazing man who only lived 60 years. His flair for spinning a yarn and being a man of letters is a blessing many of us can only wish to have. It is a pleasure to share his life from time to time. |
