Nice Borchardt Spotted....

Swung by The Gun Exchange in San Jose, CA today.

They have a really nice DWM Borchardt pistol, stock, and leather for "display only"...as the fellows in the shop said it is not for sale. Owner's named is a guy named "Phil"...

It was locked up behind glass and only the right side of the rig was visible, but it looked sweet. My guess is 99% original or stronger...the leather looks absolutely mint.

If folks are near this shop in San jose, it is worth a stop and look-see...how often do you get to see a Borchardt, even one behind display glass...?

If you are in the shop and you are standing at the "luger" display case (they normally have 3-6 lugers most of the time...), look to your left, high on the wall at the end of the aisle. This was my 5th. visit to the shop and had previously missed seeing it...

Pete, Tell Phil Hello for me. I missed seeing him at the last Louisville show earlier this month. I guess that the collector grade guns that he's looking for are getting as pricey here in the midwest, as in California. Tom Heller
