Ok Jerry,
What was that compelling reason? Just give us one or two reasons that have some logic behind them. I agree that it was not to find them in the dark, but for the life of me can't think of a reason to put them there in the first place. It also makes no sense to me that the concentric rings of the Navy mags are there because they make a "better"-meaning less slippery or firmer or ??- grip on the magazine.
