I'm aware of that (and that is the way I was taught to do it at what appears to have been centuries ago ). As stated in the beginning of my post, this, to most of us is old news. But, having read countless times the "press the barrel against hard surface" mantra I decided to post the "old school way". with pictures of my own.

As I read through the posts. I find there are members who don't have a clue as how to disassemble a Luger. This post was intended for those who already know the theory but find it hard to put in practice.

By the way, the real trick is in the step two.
