Default Magazine ID

Hi all,

I recently purchased a small lot of P08 magazines and this one was included in the batch.
It is well made, but doesn't fit into a standard P08.

I cannot determine for which contraption this magazine was designed. Any ideas?

I am thinking in the lines of non-firing replicas or alarm guns?

Hi Gerben,

I remember seeing something like this recently online. As I recall, it was a discussion about prototype or test pistols, and its mag looked like a P.08 mag in the pics.

But you might be right about the replica idea. The U-shaped die into which the front was pressed to form its curve has left scratches in the plating--not up to the very demanding standard of quality we usually see.

MGC of Japan made/make some excellent copies. The 1960's modelguns are the most realistic.

If it's a modelgun magazine, the guys at MP40 Forums should know -

There was even a recent post about the MGC P08 'zinc' magazine -

Looks like the MGC magazines I remember from the 1960's and 70's.
