P08 Holster Marking - need info <img BORDER="0" src='http://boards.rennlist.com/luger/pic.gif'>

I have a P08 Holster with a marking that I cannot identify. It is the only marking on the holster. Please have a look at the image in the referred link. I would appreciate any info on this mark. The holster if a dark brown leather of Reich era.

I was not able to open the photo, but I sure am not a computer wizard like most of the guys on the Forum. I am sure interested in seeing the photo and trying to help with the identification. Can you try to attach the photo again or am I doing something wrong to see it. HELP

It is the blue mark that looks like a sword with a handguard!

All I can see is the "Arrow" that Ted is seeing also.

Yes the blue sword like image is the mark on the holser.

Does anyone have any info on that mark?

If that is the sign, it represents MercuryÃ?Â´s winged staff - the sign of a messenger. He would have been in a Signals Unit. Patrick

That sounds very interesting, but can you support it by any documented makers marks?. As you can appreciate, I would like to be sure about this.
