I haven't purchased a Luger in over a year, maybe 1.5 years. However, I am noticing that I have the urge to buy one. It is to seek out one, investigate it as best I can, decide to purchase or attempt to purchase, get it, check it out, get it ready for safekeeping, etc.
Do others share this urge after lapses in making an acquisition? Thanks Jack Last edited by CAP Black; 11-04-2015 at 06:01 PM. Reason: editing |

My urge is never ending, I've purchased five Lugers in the last eight months. Two from out of the "bush" from veterans sons. That's a part of acquisition I love the most. Don't fight the urge.

Absolutely; I just wish I could stretch the period to a few months, a year would be incredible!

My testimony is that if you quell the Luger urge, it squirts out of the cracks--sort-of--manifest by pursuing other guns For me, it turned into three 1911's, more than a dozen Ermas, an SAA. I got back on track and scored my M1900 Commercial, then the M1900/2000 Stainless... I tried to hold off for a while after that, but on Halloween, my bid prevailed for a barely post-war Llama Model III in .380!

Jack
Unfortunately we are all more or less the same, I mean we've got more or less the same symptoms ![]()

You can treat the symptoms, but you will never cure the root cause unfortunately... (Luger Love)
