"Did the luger patents expire??" Yes. "Who produced the finest luger in America?" There are no American-produced Lugers. The Orimar/Mitchell/Stoeger stainless-steel Luger-alikes come the closest, followed by Mike Krause's CNC/handmade .45s. --Dwight
