Default Just what does a Padre carry

it was asked on another thread , more of a joke just what type pistol does a padre carry? for this padre, it can vary at times , but mainly a well worn baby browning .25 acp in my pocket , another well worn smith an Wesson model 38 concealed hammer in an ankle holster or either a smith an Wesson 627 eight rd .357 or a sig sauer model 228/m11 9mm. since I live in a free state I can carry concealed or open in most places ,as long as there are no restrictions . number one rule of a gun fight , have a gun .

several well worn ones , always remember military chaplains are somewhat different that a pastor or preacher and long before becoming a chaplain , I was a paratrooper . I will include a few pictures of a recent funeral I performed of a fellow paratrooper ,who requested he be cremated and buried in his Harley Davidson gas tank ,with full military honors , which I was glad to do .

Padre:

Who ever first said the quote, "There are no atheists on a battlefield" was a very intelligent, insightful man.

Thank you for your service and I am sure many benefited from it.

I thought you were referring to an 'on duty' military chaplain...

There were some old troopers turned Chaplain in 5th SF.
Ranger and SF Qualified.
One had a CIB, as I recall.

They would show up at the camps once in a while in a chopper, drop off some Playboys and other stuff.

One packed a Swedish K.

+1 with a S&W Model 38 (aluminum frame) in an ankle holster (check out the one by Ken Null) and a Crimson Trace grip. So lightweight you forget it's there.

Nice guns padre, hadn't heard from you in a long time?
