For loading magazines - yes, it is a useful tool, and a repro works fine for this at $6 unless you want to spend $50 or more for an original - "just because".

If I had a original Luger I might shell out the extra money for original tool. I picked up a repro with stamps off ebay for $10, just because. It can sit with my 1911 bushing tools.

How about aftermarket mags? Which ones work well for 9mm?
