Default Help identify markings on PO8

Hi all
I have a Russian capture luger that is rough shape - but she is a great shooter . There are initials on the right side of the gun that are as follows E.C.C.S.A Under that is what appears to be a faint import mark . Could this have been a police or possibly a prison guard pistol ? Thanks in advance !

As stated several times here, ECCSA was the Cross Roads Gun Shop in Pennsauken, New Jersey. They went out of business, some mystery/legal issues attached to their demise.

Thank you for your response ! This gun is a pile of mixed parts , Russian capture , import marked , old beater - but she sure shoots great and functions flawless .

Post some more pics. Shots of any & all markings, full sides, top, bottom of barrel, top of chamber. VoPo/RC Lugers are usually force-matched; built from many sources. Not necessarily a mutt but rather 'resurrected'.

I'm in NJ and used to occasionally shop there in the late 80's. The word going around at the time was that the owner was an "alleged" coke head/dealer and got busted.

Too bad as he had some neat stuff with great prices!!
